Julie-Anne Zahn graduated from University of Queensland in 1992. As a new graduate, Julie-Anne worked for the Bundaberg Health Service, initially in the Gayndah/Mundubbera region and then at Bundaberg Base Hospital.
Julie-Anne joined Angela Lathouras (previous owner of the Quay Street Practice) in 1994 but in 1996 the travel bug set in and she travelled extensively overseas.
Julie-Anne purchased Quay Street Physiotherapy in July 1999 and has since expanded the practice from initially employing 2 physiotherapists to the current staffing level of 6 physiotherapists’. During this period the Practice achieved 2 consecutive accredited terms with the APA.
Growing up in Bundaberg Julie-Anne had a keen interest in many sports. She played netball and softball at a state level. This interest is now ongoing as she follows her 2 sons Josh and Wil from one sporting arena to another. Husband Rob, Julie-Anne and the boys are heavily involved in the Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club.
She has a strong work ethic, is very proud of the support and loyalty of her patients. She acknowledges her fantastic staff for their hard work and dedication to Quay Street and to the practice’s mission statement.

Julie-Anne has a special interest in women’s health, hydrotherapy, orthopaedic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injuries. Over recent years she has also furthered her skills and knowledge in the area of men’s continence post prostate surgery.
We pride ourselves on servicing the community, and with 6 Physiotherapists on staff, we endeavour to provide treatment in a timely manner.
